A 50 mm long vee block range for supporting round stock, shafts, tube and other cylindrical parts during inspection, assembly, marking-out and light workshop setup.
Materials
- Vee block: resin body with machine-finished working surfaces.
- Clamp: ABS clamp body with brass insert where supplied.
- Clamp screw: steel threaded rod with ABS toppers for easier handling.
Accuracy
- Linear dimensions typically within ±0.25 mm.
- Higher tolerance linear dimensions available on request where extra machining allowance is practical.
- Vee angle within ±0.2° of 90°.
- Flatness of 30 microns and under in most cases.
Use cases
Useful as a practical workholding and inspection aid for repeatable support, quick alignment and general cylindrical part location. Standard sizes are 35, 45, 55, 65 and 75 mm square section, all 50 mm long.
